This is a new, fully interactive PC based course in Liquid Pipeline Hydraulics. It will serve as a refresher course for engineers and technicians in the liquid pipeline industry and other businesses that deal with liquid flow in pipes. This course is based on a one-day workshop conducted at various company sites in USA. Contains step by step introduction of concepts, with fully illustrated examples, self-assessment tests and practice problems with solutions.

Developed by E. Shashi Menon, P.E., a licensed professional engineer with over 35 years field experience in oil and gas pipelines in USA and South America. Since 1998, Mr. Menon has taught liquid and gas pipeline hydraulics courses to major oil and gas companies in the USA. He was also an ASME short course instructor for ASME courses PD431 and PD434 in Liquid Pipeline Hydraulics. He authored a book titled "Liquid Pipeline Hydraulics" published by Marcel-Dekker Publishing Co. in June 2004. His second book, titled "Piping Calculations Manual" was published by McGraw Hill in December 2004. His third book titled "Gas Pipeline Hydraulics" was published by CRC Press in 2005. His fourth book titled "Working Guide to Pump and Pumping Stations: Calculations and Simulations" was recently published by Elsevier.
